Budget Hearing
November 16, 2005

     The Budget Hearing was opened at 7:10 p.m. on November 16, 2005 by Chairperson Gerald Jensen. Supervisors: Pen Beasley, Phil Van Kampen, Wayne Ace, Darryl Weber and Clerk, Denise Arnold. There were no residents present.

     Chairperson Jensen reviewed the budget which had been prepared by the board and the town clerk. Supervisor Weber commented that Mr. Blomstrom the Town Assessor, still had some outstanding assessments that have not been considered in the 2006 budget for revenue income. These figures would be not be available until 2006 and will be categorized as Tax Adjustments/Corrections.

     MMS/Van Kampen-Beasley to close the public hearing at 7:20 p.m.

     Motion Carried

     Chairperson Jensen called a Special Town Board Meeting to order at 7:21p.m. There were no guests present.

     MMS/Van Kampen-Weber to approve total highway expenditures over $5,000. per mile for 2006. Motion carried.

     MMS/Weber-Van Kampen to make no change in elected officials salaries.

     Motion carried.

     MMS/Ace-Beasley to approve the town tax levy of $756,036. to be collected in 2006. Motion carried.

     MMS/Van Kampen-Beasley to adjourn the Special Town Board Meeting. Motion carried.
