Plan Commission Meeting Minutes
Monday, October 17, 2011
1. Call Plan Commission meeting to order.
Darryl Weber called the regular plan commission meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. In attendance were Tom Wiedenbeck, Dave Hagemann, Darryl Weber, Brian Duffin, Sharon Christensen and Deputy Clerk, Jennifer Hanson. Absent were Paul Morrison and Andy Blomstrom.
2. Approval of minutes from the last meeting.
Motion Christensen/Duffin seconded to approve the minutes from the Monday, September 18, 2011 meeting. Motion carries.
3. Public Comments.
No public comments.
Pat Runde, 18 Ethan Circle, Madison, WI, appeared to discuss selling approximately 6 acres of land to Doug Kutz, 286 Wilderness Way, Brooklyn, WI 53521. Mr. Kutz would like to purchase this land to obtain privacy by adding the 6 acres to his current home at 286 Wilderness Way on 8 acres. The land sale would not include any building rights (or split), as it is being sold for the land only and will be deed restricted. The plan commission suggested Mr. Runde to call Brian Standing at Dane County zoning. This would require a CSM (certified survey map). The plan commission would like the land to remain in an agricultural zoning.
Deputy Clerk Hanson shared the Density Study Report prepared by Dane County for Gregory Trosper, 52232 Busse Land, Baraboo, WI 53913. Mr. Trosper has two additional homesites for property owned at 1481 County Highway D, Oreogn, WI 53575.
Chairman Weber gave an update on the construction of the building at the TORC. The windows are 6 ½ inches higher to allow for the building to be moved to a cement slab. The building should be completed this week. The plan commission discussed having a sign made to read “Town of Oregon Residents Use Only.”
The plan commission requested that the Land Division Submittal Forms be added to the plan commission agenda for next month.
Motion Duffin/ Christensen seconded to adjourn the meeting at 7:09 p.m. Motion carries.
