  1. Public Comments.

No public comments.

  1. Discussion and possible Action re: Notice of Intent for the Registration of Nonmetallic Mineral Deposits for Wingra Stone Company.

No action taken.

  1. Discussion and possible Action re: changes at TORC.

Chairman Weber and Ruben Kaiser plan to build a sign for the TORC.  Half of the sign would be used for town business and the other half would be available for use by town residents.  Chairman Weber also discussed having a sign made the reads “Town of Oregon Residents Only.”  There was discussion regarding replacing the tent that was installed earlier this year with a more permanent structure to protect the attendants and residents from the weather.  This new structure would need to be flexible because it may need to be moved if the compactor was changed.  There was additional discussion regarding the type of structure that should be constructed.  The current office building would remain.  Member Blomstrom agreed to design the building.  The plan commission would like the building to be constructed before winter.  The Town Board asked Deputy Clerk Hanson to create a brochure for the residents on the new pricing and other changes at the TORC.  Chairman Weber would like the plan commission members to think about where to locate the sign that reads “Town of Oregon Residents Only” and discuss at next month’s meeting.  The plan commission recommended that the residents should be charged one punch if they would need to use the bobcat for loading of woodchips.  This charge would offset the cost of operating the bobcat.  No action was necessary.

  1. Communications.

The Plan Commission discussed a copy of a letter received from Dane County Planning & Development regarding Parcel # 050-142-8330-0.  No action was taken.

  1. Adjournment.

Motion Hagemann/Blomstrom seconded to adjourn the meeting at 7:12 p.m.  Motion carries.

Respectfully Submitted,

Jennifer Hanson
