1. Open Public Hearing:
a. Land Division & Rezone Petition # 10253; Parcel # 0509-281-6361.
The request is to make lot line adjustments and re-zone lots. Re-zone Lot
2 and Lot 3 from RH-1 and RH-1A to RH-1 and RH-3. Petitioner and
Owners are John and Penelope Beasley, 489 Sugar Hill Road, Brooklyn,
Chairman Weber opened the public hearing at 6:30 PM. In attendance were Chair Darryl
Weber, Paul Morrison, Tom Wiedenbeck, Andy Blomstrom, David Hagemann, Brian
Duffin, Sharon Christensen and Deputy Clerk, Jennifer Hanson. John and Pen Beasley,
489 Sugar Hill Road, appeared to discuss their request for a rezone. John & Pen Beasley
are adjusting lot lines with the neighboring parcels. In doing so, they discovered that
their parcel had mixed zoning. This request is to rezone Lot 3 of 9.3 acres to RH-3. The
new CSM will change Lot 29, owned by Jerry Sergent, to Lot 1, zoned R-1A, Lot 30 to
Lot 2, zoned RH-1 and Lots 31, 32, 33 are combined to become Lot 3.

3. Call Plan Commission meeting to order.
Chairman Weber called the regular plan commission meeting to order at 6:38 p.m. In
attendance were Chair Darryl Weber, Paul Morrison, Tom Wiedenbeck, Andy
Blomstrom, David Hagemann, Brian Duffin, Sharon Christensen and Deputy Clerk,
4. Discussion and possible Recommendation to the Town Board:
a. Land Division & Rezone Petition # 10253. Parcel # 0509-281-6361.
Motion Duffin/Christensen seconded to approve the Land Division & Rezone Petition #
10253. Motion carries.
5. Approval of minutes from the last meeting.
Motion Hagemann/Duffin seconded to approve the Monday, August 16, 2010 meeting
minutes with the correction under Item 5 changing RH to A-3. Motion carries.
6. Public Comments.
There were no public comments.
7. Discussion and possible action re: rezones for Farmland Preservation Plan
DATCP is currently reviewing the Town’s Farmland Preservation Plan and look like it
will be approved in November. A resident has contacted Mr. Standing about wanting to
remain in an A-3 zoning and not move to A-2. Mr. Duffin was told by the Land
Conservation Office that the town doesn’t have a Farmland Preservation Plan.
