Plan Commission Chairperson Darryl Weber called the plan commission meeting to order at 7:00. The Plan Commission recommended that Mr. Clark have a written agreement of driveway care, a joint driveway agreement on the maintenance that goes with the property in the event one or both parties relocate. It was further recommended the agreement be in writing and a serve as an attachment to the easement before presenting at Dane County. Motion was made by Lloyd Klahn and seconded by Sharon Christensen to recommend approval of petition number 9522, on parcel number 0509-084-9500-9 with the following conditions.
Motion Carried.
A motion was made by Lloyd Klahn and seconded by Brian Duffin to approve the minutes from the March 28, 2006 Plan Commission Meeting as read. Motion carried.
Chair Weber inquired if there were any public comments. Mark Ditsch and Sheryll Dvorak residing at 749 County Highway MM, parcel number 0509-241-9420-5 inquired about a potential land split. Dvorak had discussed driveway options with Supervisor Wayne Ace. Their current driveway is in a dangerous situation and they would like to move the driveway to the south of their dwelling and create a shared driveway to service two additional two acre parcels for the purpose of building houses on each. The property owner had contacted Dane County and the engineer thought the change of the driveway would provide a safer driveway condition than what is established now. The existing driveway would be discontinued. Property is zoned RH-2.
No action or discussion was required on the Hampton Valley Final Plat submitted by Attorney Hazelbaker for Dan Levine.
The Plan Commission discussed pre-viewing submittal properties before the public hearing for said properties. This would aid in the decision making process. There were concerns regarding a walking quorum. Chair Weber requested that the clerk inquire with the Town’s attorney how to legally post the meetings. There was also discussion on the fee schedule for driveway permits and rezone submittals. There may be a need to increase some of those fees to compensate for additional expenses.
Motion made by Paul Morrison and seconded by Sharon Christensen to adjourn the Plan Commission Meeting at 8:30.
Respectfully Submitted,
Denise R. Arnold,
