3. Public Comments.
a. Pat Hermsen, 5375 Netherwood Rd., conservation easement
Pat Hermsen did not appear at the meeting. Discussion will be postponed until further contact. Deputy Clerk Hanson had a prospective buyer for 101 Glenway Rd. inquiry about operating an auto mechanic shop which would require a conditional use permit. The buyer did not appear.
4. Discussion and possible Action re: Review of town ordinances.
The board decided to review Chapter 11 next month.
5. Discussion and possible Action re: TORC procedure.
Ace reported there was no record of the recycling compactor being full as stated last month. Ace thought there may have been a misunderstanding as to what can be put into the recycling compactor. The recycling compactor is currently emptied weekly, however Pellitteri reviewed the weekly weights and suggested that the compactor could be emptied less frequently to save costs. The trees around the burn pit were removed by public works, but possibly some additional trees could be removed.
6. Update on Anderson Park.
There was a bonfire at the park on Saturday night. The next Friends of Anderson Park meeting will be tomorrow night. Christensen reported the invasive weed garlic mustard growing along the road side at the park. Volunteer crews have worked to remove weeds, but removal is ongoing.
Dep. Clerk Hanson reported that Dane County is issuing a stop work permit for a garage on Sugar Hill Rd. because the home was burnt to the ground. Dane County will not allow an accessory building to be built if a home doesn’t exist on the property. The group discussed the definition of a home.
Christensen moved, seconded by Hagemann to adjourn the meeting at 6:55 p.m. Motion carried 7-0.
