TORC is Your Recycling Center
Town of Oregon Recycling Center (TORC) is open every Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
During summer months (May 1 to Nov 1) they are also open Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The Town of Oregon Recycling Center (TORC) is a complete recycling and waste disposal center for all Town of Oregon residents.  The site is a full-service site for disposing of trash or recycling a variety of items.  To use the TORC, you need to purchase a TORC punch card from the Oregon Town Hall, 1138 Union Road or at the TORC.  The punch card costs $40.00 and never expires.  This works out to $2.00 per 30-gallon bag brought to the site.

There is no charge for bringing in recyclables that are placed in the bins, but we do have a minimal charges for special items.  These items cost the Town money to recycle and we are merely passing this cost on to the residents.  See the fees chart below.

DO NOT BRING ... TVs, air conditioners, computers, refrigerators, microwaves.  Those items require special disposal, see Recycling Locations in Dane County below.
